Cllr Bal Bansal

Borough Councillor for Trent Bridge Ward – West Bridgford.

Bal is a Rushcliffe Borough Councillor, certified FA Level 1 Football Coach and works in IT (Technology).

Bal also coaches the local football team – and you can see him at Rushcliffe School when his Under 9’s are playing on a Saturday morning! In addition, Bal supports a number of charities, preparing and cooking food for those in need and delivering packaged foods to food banks.

Bal lives in West Bridgford with his family and has seen major transformations over the last few years. Bal’s children go to local schools and he was also a local school Governor, so understands at first hand the pressures the schools are under.

About Me

Hi, I’m Bal. I work in IT (Technology) and live in West Bridgford with my family and have two children who are at local schools.

I am also a Rushcliffe Borough Councillor, where I am vice chair of the communities scrutiny committee and am the Labour spokesperson for community issues within the borough.

I am passionate about my local community and spend as much time as possible speaking to residents and helping improve the local area, as well as coaching youth football, and cooking with Guru Nanak’s Mission.
