Proms in the the Park was a great event last week, lots of people having fun together, and it’s nice to have a chance to thank the service men and women who look after us (the stream of knitted poppies was wonderful). Well done RBC staff for arranging the day. I didn’t arrive until the evening so I am not sure what happened in the afternoon but next year the evening could be even better if it could represent all of our diverse community. Perhaps we need some kind of Rushcliffe’s got talent competition to select a couple of slots. Let’s face it.. we have a lot of talent!
